GOURAB GUHA
is an independent photographer based in Kolkata, India.
Drawn to visual art since childhood, he found in photography a way of looking: of waiting, watching, and remaining attentive to what ordinarily escapes notice. His photographs emerge from this state of expectancy, where the uncertain seems to linger just beyond the visible, waiting to reveal itself for an instant.
Yet perhaps an image is not quite a moment.
A moment is fleeting; it appears and disappears almost simultaneously. What his photographs attempt to hold is something more elusive: a fragment wrested from the immense velocity of the world, where light and colour, form and reflection, the distinct and the indistinct, the complete and the incomplete briefly converge. His images are traces of that encounter, gathered from a reality that is constantly moving beyond the frame.
Colour, particularly vibrant and complex colour, remains a persistent obsession—not merely as an aesthetic presence, but as a force that alters perception and unsettles the familiar.
His photographs do not seek to tell stories; rather, they resist narrative.

PALASH ROY
Photo artist from Kolkata whose approach is distinctive and provocative. In the contemporary realistic world he prefers using surrealistic psychic automatism without lapsing into subjectivity. To him the outer world does not exist as independent reality. Exploring various stations of art, specially poetry and music the ascetic black and white mystery prove to be rich with limited reality, provoking explosion of form and fantasy.
